A price has context
Kroger's selected 13.5 oz Frosted Flakes displayed 2.99 from 4.29 at the default Rolla location with all fulfillment unavailable. That proves a displayed observation, not a national entitlement. Target's 3.29 and Harris Teeter's 5.59 likewise belong to selected pages and conditions, not every store or delivery method.
A message is not a confirmed discount
Life search context included buy-one-get-one messaging. We did not halve 5.59 because qualifying quantity, dates, account conditions and checkout treatment were not all established. Record a confirmed credit separately from the complete merchandise base. A public snippet does not prove a customer-specific offer applies.
The right tool input
Enter selected whole-box quantities and the actual price per offer, followed only by a confirmed merchandise credit. Exact full credit is valid; one cent above the base is rejected. Shipping, tax and other charges need separate explicit values including confirmed zeros. A discounted product does not automatically mean free delivery.
Before committing
Set your store and fulfillment method, read the terms and inspect the final cart. If a coupon fails, remove it rather than alter package size to force a lower rate. This tool neither submits coupons nor tests eligibility, reserves stock or combines merchant policies. Use a new observed price when the old sale or store context no longer applies.
A confirmed promotion example
If checkout actually confirms a merchandise credit of2.99on a qualifying order,enter2.99as the credit while retaining the original selected prices and quantities. Do not also halve a price,which could count the same benefit twice. If eligibility changes when quantity changes,recheck the credit rather than assume it remains valid. No calculator output proves that a merchant accepted a promotion.
