Read the selected unit
Our three offers are one box each:8.9 oz Cheerios,13.5 oz Frosted Flakes and 13 oz Life. A family-size phrase does not mean several boxes. Recommendation tiles may sell another flavor, size or case. Check that title, selected size and cart quantity agree before transferring a price.
A multipack needs evidence
A two-box offer needs an explicit count and a weight per box or combined package. If only outer weight is known, do not assume its inner cartons match the single-box SKU here. A shipment containing two cartons also does not prove that the quoted price was per carton. Attach the price basis to the exact offer.
Whole-box rounding
For seven matching boxes with two held, five single-box offers fill the remainder. A verified future offer containing two identical boxes would require three offers, add six and leave one above target. Our selected records supply one box, so no unverified pack count is silently introduced.
Substitutions matter
A retailer may offer another size under its own substitution rules. This can change weight, ingredients or a needed claim. Review those settings and the final item yourself. The inventory tool neither orders nor predicts fulfillment. An unavailable sale remains unavailable even if its arithmetic looks attractive; confirm a purchasable matching offer before relying on it.
Case count before calculator input
A wholesale case marked12may mean twelve cartons,but that meaning must be explicitly confirmed in its selected offer. It could instead be part of a size or product code. Record boxes per case and net weight per box as separate fields before dividing a case price. Our present one-box records deliberately do not accept an imagined case size;use a documented new record for a different supply unit.
