Choose a count you control
The stock tool asks for your chosen target of matching sealed boxes and the matching boxes already held. It does not propose a household allowance or estimate days of food. For eight selected Life 13 oz boxes with three usable matching boxes held, the shortfall is five. Each selected offer supplies one, so five whole offers meet that target.
Do not mix unlike stock
A half-used box, another flavor or a 24.8 ozLife is not a matching sealed 13 oz box. You may use another inventory system elsewhere, but these inputs share one unit. The tool avoids converting remnants, cups, servings, pieces or approximate contents into a sealed-box count.
Zero is meaningful
When held stock equals or exceeds the target, the additional quantity is zero. A zero target is valid. Blank, negative, fractional, exponential and over-limit counts remain unresolved rather than becoming rounded purchases. Counts are bounded at 1,000,000 for predictable arithmetic, not as a sensible household recommendation.
Check the stock itself
The result does not verify dates, condition, retailer stock or arrival. Inspect the actual boxes and remove any that fail your usability criterion before entering the count. Then check a current offer. We do not infer breakfasts from approximate servings or recommend pantry amounts for a child, adult or medical diet.
Held stock above the target
For a chosen target of4with7matching usable boxes held,the result is zero additional offers and final stock7,three above target. The tool does not recommend discarding surplus or consuming it by a deadline. It simply avoids a negative order. For mixed sizes or open packages,first choose a consistent inventory method rather than inputting uncertain fractions into a whole-box field.
